French Toast with Pecan Maple Syrup



  • 2 cinnamon rolls, cut in half (or whatever bread you prefer)
  • 1/2 cup cashew milk
  • 1 egg
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp Purely Pecans raw pecan butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of fine sea salt
  • 2 tbsp chopped roasted pecans
  • 2 sliced strawberries


  1. Whisk together cashew milk, egg, vanilla + cinnamon in a large, shallow bowl. Dip cinnamon roll halves (or bread slices) in mixture.
  2. Heat ghee in a large skillet over medium heat + cook rolls a couple minutes per side, until golden on both sides.
  3. Mix together pecan butter, maple syrup, cinnamon + salt. Drizzle over french toast + sprinkle with pecans. Serve with strawberries.
